From Desert to the Rockies

An interesting few days regarding outdoor fun.

From the red rock desert where I again scoped out some potential hikes for clients:

Snowy stroll along the creek .. A snow storm rolled in and Professor Creek had its fill of cold, swiftly running water. The red rock soared above. And we even spotted “mudsicles” along the way. … Drought should not be an issue this year. All the moisture should mean a healthy spring. Until then, we’ll enjoy the last, and scenic, days of winter here on our little part of the Colorado Plateau. .. #utah #coloradoplateau #publiclands #moab #hiking #moabutah #castlevalley

And a quick trip to the Front Range where I caught up with friends, stocked up on craft beer, made Costco and Trader Joe runs, and skied!

A quick weekend, but good to see my friends I’ve known for twenty-years! And I’ll see many of them again in a month when they visit Moab for spring break!
