Douglas Adams on flowers

Douglas Adams died much too young at the beginning of this current century.

As I was discussing Richard Dawkins with a colleague, I could not help but smile as I remembered these words that were a forward to a book on my shelf.

Douglas Adams encapsulates the views of wonderment and rapture in the outdoors in one sentence far more succinctly than I did in one essay. 

Yes. Yes, indeed.
