The road trip portion of my sabbatical has come to an end. Here are some random thoughts about being on the road since late November 2017.
Ambles around the Atlanta area. A little hiking, a little history, and seeing some old friends!
A substantial day hike to the start of the famous Appalachian Trail and back. We saw the waterfalls, stopped by the Hike Inn, and finished the day with beer and pizza at the Amicalola Lodge.
An almost 60-mile loop on the Bartram and Appalachian Trail. Views from balds, wildflowers flourished, and pleasant walks along streams in dense woods abounded.
Making my way south from Rhode Island to visit a friend in Virginia. And catching up with dad in North Carolina.
A mad dash to the East Coast and a week in Rhode Island.
The loose plans for the next few months starting in September 2017. Read this post if you emailed and wondering why I have not written back in a few days. 🙂
