someone and I went to a family wedding and decided to visit some sites in my home state.
Some fresh seafood was in order in the small village of Galilee. The fishing boats nearby show fresh this seafood was at our table!
Later that visit, we did get in small hike just as the foliage was peaking in southern New England.
And we visited one of the best places in Rhode Island: Block Island. Fourteen miles off the coast, quiet and still very rural, it is truly a stunning place.
As always, it was good to see my many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends bach East.
I hope to get to Block Island again when the visit can be more leisurely.
