Joshua Tree National Park

Many cliches could be written about Joshua Tree, and the stark environment found there.

But I’ll let the photos do the talking instead.  Not many pictures as I was, more or less, passing through on my way back to Colorado.  A last-minute decision was made to not camp in the BLM land outside of the park. But instead to experience Joshua Tree as it was meant to be seen. And why the park was so iconic.

I could see the desert below where I would have camped if my original plan was adhered to.  But as striking as it was, it was not the Joshua Tree park I’ve seen photos of previously.

A wise decision was made.
