There are many reasons we enjoy living where we live.
But the overall reason, without a doubt, is the easy access to public lands that are among the most stunning in the world.
And the cultural and historical parts add to the depth of the experience.
We don’t have to travel far to find wild places with few or no people.
And the intricacies of the canyons make it so it will take us years, if not decades, to see all there is to see.
The familiar never grows tiring nor disappoints.
And the new to us is always intriguing.
It’s our home. And we are grateful for the life we created here.
