It takes a bit of time to bond as it probably needs to vent off its carrier to allow the glue to set and bond. When bonded it sticks tremendously well and edges are near impossible to lift or peal off from fabrics.&quot;   So the iron, much like with duct tape, just helps it stick better once out of the field.

Another reader also says &quot;Shoot, we send that stuff out for temporary yurt repairs all the time. Fantastic stuff!&quot;
