All my "off road" rigs have on-board compressors due to just the fact that aired down tires work a lot better on "Jeep" trails. All those are of the more robust variety. 15 minutes per tire when all four tires are aired down equals a few book chapters or maybe a nap. The best one is the engine driven York in my Willys that puts out sufficient air volume to run air tools.

Don't forget the tire repair kit either. This is the kit I have in the Jeeps:

I even bought Joan one as well as though she does not travel down rough roads, she does go where there's no cell service in her Honda. BTW, the local mechanic fixed the flat and found a screw in the tire! Something that can occur anywhere.

I never knew about this item, but often fantasized about something like this since I'm often in the backcountry where there is zero cell service. (Lately, Monongahela National Forest in WV where even Verizon is scarce.) What a nightmare waiting to happen, right? So I clicked on the link and found the Joyroom reduced to $24.99 today, and clicked BUY. Hope you get a small piece of that action if you're an affiliate.

I'd rather enjoy my coffee for $30 and it packs easier.

As for a puncture, you are being optimistic with a fix a flat and may get a blowout instead. :) Swap the spare, instead.

A bike pump will help in a pinch, with a little patience.

But for punctures, you might consider those fix a flat cans.
