Aluminum Gutter Spike Nails

Gutter spike nails have excellent holding power at 7", light at about .40 oz ea, durable, and end up being only about fifty cents a piece! Combine with some bank line to make a loop and also to use as cordage, and you have a light, effective, and inexpensive essentials for a tarp, tent, or awning system that will please any dirt bagger!

Ultra Lite Frogg Toggs

For maintained trail or tundra hiking, the Frogg Togg UL jackets are fantastic. Sized very large. A bit more breathable than "real" rain jackets. Do not use these jackets or pants in rough terrain, though. I use the jacket only and keep the pants in my car kit.

P-38 and P-51 Can Openers
