I’m in Northern AZ and, unfortunately, cannot ever get out this time of the year (my favorite) due to the endless hunting seasons here.
I’m just not willing to wear orange and take the risk. Hopefully, December will bring pleasant temps, not too much snow, and the opportunity to get back to what I enjoy.

My family did some exploring on the not-to-be-taken-lightly 4WD roads in the Needles this summer. Yeah, most the time, I would rather have been hiking or biking. But it did allow us to get 25 gallons of water into the backcountry. I can’t wait to explore the Maze and this post will help.
