I don’t want to drive far…
Time to rediscover the local foothills. Perhaps the best wildflower season in a long time due to all the moisture. Everything is lush and green and full of life.
My current home is getting more crowded, and more expensive, but there are still little pockets left of something less well traveled. After fifteen years of living here, I have my little spots that are social trails and not on the hiking maps.
Sometimes the local favorite is enough at times while waiting for other places to clear out.
And the Boulder foothills are beautiful.
