Likewise! The National Parks are wonderful, but the type of experience I seek is usually found elsewhere. National Monuments provide some of that experience

While I love some of the bigger parks I’ve visited, it is the smaller ones that have usually meant more to me. I’m also typically partial to USFS lands versus NPS due to the crowd differences.
