Just did the loop clockwise from Monarch Pass 21 to 27 Sep 19. Saw a number of CDT thru hikers the first 2 days, but it was pretty sparse the rest of the time. Great scenery, solid tread, and easy to follow with just the CT databook.
Twin Lakes General Store is a great place to stop and resupply; very hiker-friendly. Mt Princeton store is a good place to stop for snacks and free coffee, but they oddly don’t carry backpacking-specific foods. Ditto for the Monarch Pass souvenir shop.
(I have to admit I didn’t notice all that many of your new CT markers, though I rarely felt concerned that I might miss a turn. Perhaps you posted them more in view of the counter clockwise hikers.)

This year? Probably not. Record snowpack and a lot would have to melt off quickly. About July 10th, esp. the higher areas, is more realistic.

Nice write-up. Quick question - any chance this loop is possible from late June to early July? Will snow be a big problem?
