I wrote a well-regarded book for beginner backpackers back in 2019. Life has taken some twists and turns since then (for me and the world!), but I’m proud of this little book and glad many people seem to get something out of it.
Recently, Steve Hood purchased a book with the idea that his partner, new to backpacking, may enjoy the book. We’ve “known” each other through online hiking circles, but, as with many people due to my lack of self-promotion, Steve did not realize I wrote a book. Ha! In any case, he wrote a very kind review and followed it up with a YouTube interview.
