On March 12th, 2016 I have a presentation on navigation for the ALDHA-W / CDTC Rockies Ruck.
Essentially a series of workshops and panel discussions, mine was on navigation for the long trails.

The presentation is not trail specific for the most part but an overview.
You do miss my colorful anecdotes (!) , but I feel this presentation does give a good feel for some of the concerns and what should be known for any competent backcountry navigator.
Great presentation. It’s so easy to lose those map and compass skills if you spend to much time hiking on easy to follow trails. Now you just gotta record it so everyone can experience those colorful anecdotes!
